To make it even worse, they are pushing the wrong day! Now, I know that most people who read this blog believe that Sunday is the Lord's day, but this is not Truth. I'm not trying to start an argument. It's just Biblical fact. Sabbath IS the Lord's day.
The simple truth here is that they are using all of this pushing of Sunday to get the people ready for the Sunday laws to come. And they are coming. What's sad is that most people think they are a good thing. I am not one of those people.
The Lord is calling His people out of the apostate churches (Revelation 18:4). He is separating the wheat from the chaff (Matthew 3:12). Jesus told us that the elect will not be deceived (Matthew 24:24).
My prayer is that I am not of the chaff. That I am obeying the Lord in all things in my life. That I am allowing Him to work through me in His righteousness. I know that with Him all things are possible (Mark 10:27), including the keeping of the Ten Commandments. I know that He came to fulfill the Law, not destroy it (Matthew 5:17). I know that to show our love to our Father in Heaven we are to keep His commandments (John 14:15, John 14:21, John 15:10, 1 John 5:2, 2 John 1:6, and several more verses in the old and new testaments), and they are not grievous (1 John 5:3). I pray that for each of my dear brothers and sisters in Christ, whether they attend my church service or not.
The day of our Lord's coming is near. On that day I long to hear,
"Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord", Matthew 25:21.
Not this,
Something to seriously pray and think about. I know I am."Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.", Matthew 7:21-23.
