God's True Church

The past several weeks we have had a guest speaker, Brother Rob from Light Ministries. It has been amazing so far! It has really opened my eyes to a lot of different things. I always knew some of it but heard it in a different light when he spoke it. There have been 3 parts so far, and I am looking forward to part 4! I really really want to share this sermon series with each of you but, it hasn't been made into a video just yet! I will post it s soon s it is available though. I do have the audio but can't figure out how to put it on here. =/

Br Rob teaches straight from the Bible. He doesn't add his own interpretations. He shares what/who God's true Biblical church is. It's not a denomination, just in case you're thinking, "Oh, she's going to say it's her church." God's true church is made up of those "who love the Lord and keep His commandments". (See Ecc 12:13, Dan 9:4, John 14:15, John 15:10, 1 John 2:3, 1 John 5:2, 1 John 5:3, Revelation 12:17, Revelation 14:12, and many others!)

There are thousands of denominations of Christian churches out there. Thousands!! All of them claiming to be God's true church. All of them mixing Truth with error. Denominations = confusion = Babylon. I don't mean to be rash here. Nor am I trying to be rude. I'm just stating the facts. I love each one of my brothers and sisters in Christ! Regardless of the denomination they choose to attend. As for me, I choose not to attend any denomination. Yes, I attend a church... online. And yes, it does have a name. But we don't attach ourselves to any denomination.

As soon as I figure out how to share the audio, I will pot it in a new blog post! Until then, keep your eyes turned to the Lord friends!

  1. Ok, so I typed out this big long thing and I deleted. I think it best, when thinking about denominations, is to know that yes some think they are the only true church. Others just think they are one "way of thought" in the true church which is the universal church of all those who are in Jesus Christ. I think the most important thing is for all of us, no matter what denomination we may be in or not, is to remember our human sinfulness and to be cautious of self-righteousness and in thinking we ourselves could never be wrong, but everyone else is. I often say a prayer asking God to help me remember that I may not always be correct in my way of thinking, but that I am seeking after Him and trusting in Him, and to forgive me for my errors and misunderstandings, and to help me forgive others and be understanding and not cause further division in the church over what is not related to salvation, but rather to love all my brothers and sisters in Christ and continue to pray for all of our understanding of the knowledge of Christ.
